Today is my 4th day at office. I am a working as a trainee @
One97 for a month. Since many days I was thinking to write a blog, today I gathered all the guts and decided to write a blog on my office, describing event in real time. Let’s see how far i go with this.
Starting 12 O'clock (direction)
I can see my 17" flat screen monitor with corrupted graphics drivers, sparsely crowded pantry room which has only a coffee machine. I was hoping for a cold drink machine also :(.
One of the HR standing at 1 O'clock seems to be tensed. She is talking to a person in the next cubical. She also come by the office bus and always wishes me morning.
At 2 O'clock no activity i can see. All morons are busy with their work.
There is some meeting going on at 3 in a glass office. One person is explaining on a white board and 4 are sitting silently and looking at him. Now the standing person has also sat down but still writing on the board. Seems like he has tired. He is looking funny although.
A discussion seems to be taking place at 4.30 again in glass office. A bald young looking person is explaining to a girl with a laptop and pen and paper. But the girl seems to be more interested in her nails. Why (some) girls are like this?
A lone some what fatty and frustrated person is eating orange in his glass office at 5.30. He seems to be much tensed and now he is removing his specs also. Seems like he is going to bang his head any time now.
Now at 6 O'clock. Ahem. Let me see. A person is sitting with back faced towards me and checking mails. Parsing through his mail I can deduce that his name isRahul. Now is working on a DOS window. Gods knows what he is doing.
A girl some what pretty at 7 is chatting using GMail in-built messenger. 8 people online: 3 busy, 3 available and 2 idle :). Whole day she just goes through a PDF full of java questions and answers and gossiping with the people around here. Never with me. Her name is I think suman or neha. Although she sits just behind me I am not sure of the name.
At 9 one of the members of testing team is editing something on edit+ and using phpmyadmin. He yesterday told his name but I forgot it. My bad. Next to him someone is sitting on the table and gossiping. Coming back to 3 O'clock meeting, it is still not over and the funny person is now sitting on the chair properly and talking. The 5.30 person seems to be cooled down. He has wear back the specs and silently working on laptop. Laptop reminds me that I am not allowed to bring me laptop here. My bad again.
9 to 12 seems to be a silent zone. Not much activity I can see. It took me 6 songs to write this blog. Second so-so looking was roaming here and there with a file on her hand. The first so-so looking person has not come into my view yet. Now who has the time of 6 songs to write a blog. Well I just completed the assigned work and waiting for my mentor to come and check it. I am waiting impatiently for him to come as I have to show him my 900 lines of code I have written just in 4 days. I love my self for this :).
